Shijian Li, PhD

Shijian Li, PhD was awarded a Ph.D. degree in Social Work and Political Science
from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. With a background in public health,
social work and political science, Dr. Li’s research interest includes health
disparities, social determinants of health, community-based participatory
research (CBPR) and program evaluation. He has expertise in both quantitative and
qualitative research methods, and is conversant with various software programs in
advanced statistical and qualitative data analysis. Currently, he is the
evaluation research scientist at the Center for the Study of Asian American
Health at New York University School of Medicine.
