Isha Weerasinghe, MSc

Isha Weerasinghe is the Program Coordinator for B Free CEED. Prior to working at B Free CEED, she worked for The Belaku Trust, a small NGO in Bangalore, India focusing on women’s empowerment and health research. There she helped to incorporate a health module into the general curriculum for preschool children living in rural areas outside of Bangalore, and helped to develop a cost-analysis paper for a WHO-sponsored project centered on the quality of care of pregnant women living in rural Karnataka. Ms. Weerasinghe has also worked in comparative effectiveness and clinical trials for Pfizer, and as a Research Associate for the AIDS Institute, researching facilities and collaborating on the development of best practices materials. She holds a masters from the London School of Economics and Political Science from the Department of Social Policy.
