chia-hui peng Chia-hui Peng is a Data Analyst for B Free CEED and Program Coordinator of the National Hepatitis B Screening Data Repository. Previously she worked as a project coordinator for the Manhattan Tobacco Cessation Project, where she conducted bilingual surveys and administered a nicotine patch effectiveness study among Chinese in Flushing. At NYU School of Medicine, Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Ms. Peng developed and managed a database for the pediatric hepatitis B clinic and worked as a data analyst and epidemiologist for the NYC Asian American Hepatitis B Project. Using this comprehensive database, Ms. Peng developed a Markov model simulating HBV infection progression to assess the cost-effectiveness of intervention options. Currently, she is analyzing CDC survey data to estimate the prevalence of HBV infection in a sampled NYC Asian population, and identifying factors that affect HBV testing. Ms. Peng received a masters in Epidemiology from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and her undergraduate education at National Taiwan University.
