Viral Hepatitis Bill Introduced to Congress
October 29, 2009
Representative Mike Honda (D-CA) introduced the Viral Hepatitis and Liver Cancer Prevention & Control Act of 2009 to members of Congress. The bill was developed collaboratively with the National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable (NVHR) and community-level stakeholders from across the U.S. It is the first bill to focus exclusively on hepatitis and addresses both hepatitis B & C.
B Free CEED supports Rep. Honda and the NVHR on their advocacy and efforts to pass the bill. We will be posting the latest information on the progress of the bill on our website.
